IND vs BAN 2nd ODI: Captain Rohit Sharma sent for scans after suffering thumb injury

It may come as a big blow for Team India as captain Rohit Sharma has gone for scans after sustaining a blow on his thumb while fielding in the 2nd ODI against Bangladesh. 

The incident happened in the second over of the match after Bangladesh opted to bat.

Rohit was hit on the thumb while trying to stop the ball in the slip cordon.

Meanwhile, pacer Kuldeep Sen missed the second ODI due to a stiff back. 

In a statement, BCCI said that the medical team advised Kuldeep to rest after he complained of back stiffness following the first ODI. 


Tearaway-pacer Umran Malik has replaced Kuldeep in India's Playing XI for the second ODI.
