In the first innings during the first Test against Australia, Shami hit three sky-high sixes during his valuable innings of 37 runs.
Interestingly, with these 3 maximums, the 32-year-old has now hit more sixes than Kohli, Yuvraj, KL Rahul, Dhawan and Ravi Shastri in the longest format of the game.
Shami has 25 sixes in Tests, while Virat has 24, Yuvraj has 21 and Rahul has only 17 sixes. Shami's quickfire knock helped India take a 223-run lead in the Nagpur Test.
