A poor show with the bat in Visakhapatnam meant that Team India was handed a humiliating 10-wicket defeat by Australia, making the 3rd and final ODI in Chennai a winner takes if all affair.

Shubman Gill not firing at the top and Suryakumar Yadav dismissed for back-to-back golden ducks in the first 2 ODIs is concerning for the Men in Blue.

Team India has a mixed record at Chepauk, having won 2 and lost 2 of their last 4 ODIs here. This includes an 8-wicket loss vs the West Indies in their last match at this ground in 2019.

History is stacked against Team India as Australia is one team which has troubled the hosts at home.

The Men in Blue have won just 3 of their last 8 ODIs vs Australia in India, which includes a 3-2 series win for the Aussies in March 2019.

Interestingly that was the last ODI series India lost at home. Since then, the hosts are on a 7-series winning streak on home soil, which is at stake now.
