Current ICC Chairman Greg Barclay is set for a second run in office as the Head of the cricket body.
The New Zealander was elected in December 2020 and is expected to remain in power for another term as the only other nominee, Zimbabwe Cricket chairman Dr Tavengwa Mukuhlani, is likely to withdraw his name from the upcoming election.
A single term is two-years-long and an individual can be elected for a total of three terms at max.
The election is scheduled for November 12 in Melbourne.
