Shikhar Dhawan may be out of the ODI set-up despite leading the Men in Blue in a number of ODI series before the Bangladesh tour last year, understands the decision taken by the team management.

Speaking to PTI, Gabbar said that he did his best but if somebody was doing better than his best, that's fine.

However, Dhawan is still optimistic about playing at the ODI World Cup in India later this year. Speaking on that, he said that there is always a chance of him making a comeback to the side.

'If it comes it is good, if it doesn’t come that is also good. I have achieved a lot and I am happy with that. Whatever has to come will come. I don’t get desperate about it,' added the 37-year-old.
