Former Pakistan cricketer Abdul Razzaq feels it will be 'good for cricket' if the venue for the 2023 Asia Cup is shifted outside Pakistan.

The former all-rounder though blatantly called out BCCI for their stance of not sending the Indian team to Pakistan if the Asia Cup is hosted there. Razzaq is of the opinion that shifting the tournament to Dubai would be the best option for cricket and cricketers.

Former PCB chairperson Khalid Mahmood had earlier highlighted that it would be a weak tournament if India chooses to opt out and PCB will lose money.

Both the famed Pakistani personalities called hosting the tournament outside the nation a 'pragmatic solution'.

While Pakistan has the hosting rights for the 2023 edition of the Asia Cup, India has refused to participate in the event if the venue is not shifted outside of the neighbouring nation.
