Former IPL player R Sathish says he was allegedly offered Rs 40 lakh for match fixing

Rajagopal Sathish who has formerly been a part of Mumbai Indians, Punjab Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders has revealed that he was offered a huge sum for match-fixing during the Tamil Nadu Premier League.

The 41-year-old who played for Ranji Trophy player said that a person named Bunny Anand approached him via Instagram and offered him Rs 40 lakh to fix matches, confirmed BCCI Anti-corruption Unit chief Shabir Khandawawala.

While Sathish who played for Chepauk Super Gillies that won the TNPL last year, informed the BCCI and ICC about the incident he has also lodged a complaint with the police in Chennai.
