According to the wicketkeeper-batter, the veteran Indian pacer is the toughest to bat against in training.
Speaking on Cricbuzz's show 'Rise of New India', Karthik said Shami is nasty to play in the nets. He further revealed that not just him, but even the likes of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma don't want to face the 32-year-old fast bowler.
Karthik said, "I thought I was the only one so then I asked Kohli, Rohit and they are all legends of the game and they all said they hate playing Shami."
