Despite facing harsh criticism, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam has no plans of relinquishing the Pakistan team's captaincy.

'Captaincy is a matter of honour for me. I will do whatever best I can for my country and for myself', Azam who has lost 6 out of 16 Tests as a captain said in the post-match conference.
I enjoy it more under pressure, it doesn't affect my batting, the skipper added while saying that the team and their performance is paramount to him.

England handed Pakistan their first-ever whitewash in the longest format of the game at home as they registered an 8-wicket win in the 3rd and final Test- this raised serious questions on Azam's captaincy, with many fans and former cricketers asking Azam to step down.

This is also for the first time that the team has faced defeat in 4 Tests in a row at home. Before the 3-match England series, Australia had defeated them in March.
