Rajvardhan Hangargekar proved his mettle in the Under-19 World Cup which India won and he got duly rewarded for that as well.

In the recently concluded IPL Mega auctions, the 2 of the most successful IPL teams, Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians had a bidding war for the 19-year-old cricketer which he says, 'was the most special moment' for him. He was finally bought by CSK for a whopping Rs 1.5 crore.

While Hangargekar is all set to join the Yellow Army, he is delighted at the thought of playing under MS Dhoni. The die-hard MSD fan revealed that his father who passed away last year, always wanted him to play under Dhoni in the Chennai Super Kings squad which was also his favorite IPL team.
