'Dad, you were taken away so soon', Shane Warne's family speak about their loss

'Dad, this doesn't feel real', said the heartbroken son of Shane Warne after his dad passed away last week at the age of 52. The devastated family spoke about their pain and loss for the first time after the death of the Australian great who passed away at his residence in Thailand on Friday. His children, Summer, Brooke, and Jackson Warne who couldn't believe the news recalled their time with the spinning legend.

'Our time was robbed, I want more holidays with you, more 'goodnight I love you SJ, I'll see you in the morning', more talks about how your days were', said Summer who yearned for a 'tighter last hug'. His eldest daughter Brooke said, 'Dad this doesn't feel real, doesn't make sense that you are not here with us anymore'

The youngest of all, Jackson Warne recalled playing games, poker, golf with his dad. You just wanted me to be happy, that's it. So that's what I am going to do', he added. His parents called the night of the 4th of March a 'never-ending nightmare'

Warne's autopsy report revealed that the cricketer died due to natural causes. A memorial ceremony to be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground within the next 2 weeks.
