Cricket South Africa announced the prize money for the inaugural edition of their T20 league, SA20.
The SA20 will have a total prize purse of 70 million rands i.e. approx Rs 33.5 crore. Prize money will be awarded to the teams from this purse depending upon the place they finish after the tournament.
Interestingly, this is the biggest purse in the history of South African franchise cricket.

SA20 is scheduled to be held from Jan 10 to Feb 11 in 2023.
