India embarrassingly went down against Pakistan in the World T20, and this memory for the Pakistani skipper Babar azam is one of the 'best moments' for his team in the past year.

India who performed poorly at the showpiece event registered a shameful 10-wicket jinx-breaking loss against Pakistan.

Calling the moment his high point that gave the team confidence, Azam who was talking on a PCB-hosted podcast said, 'it was a fantastic achievement for the team because we had not been able to beat India in the World Cups for so many years. It was our best moment of the year.'

The 27-year-old batter also said that losing to Australia in the semis was the most hurtful.

Pakistan had registered consecutive victories until they were held back by the Aussies in the World T20 semis, who later went on to win the World T20 title as well.
