Shahid Afridi opened up on the Asia Cup 2023 hosting row between India and Pakistan and blamed the PCB for finding itself in such a situation.

'India agar aankhe dikha raha hain or taking such a strong stance, then they have made themselves that strong, hence they are being able to talk like this, otherwise, they wouldn't have the courage,' stated the former Pakistan skipper.

Talking about the PCB, Afridi said that if anyone is unable to stand on his own feet, then the decision to make such strong calls is not easy. 'At the end it's making yourself strong and then take decisions,' he further added.

Pakistan has the hosting rights for Asia Cup 2023 but BCCI secretary Jay Shah stated that India won't travel to Pakistan and that the tournament needed to be moved to a neutral venue.
