With a thumping 40-run over Hong Kong, India registered a top spot in Asia Cup 2022 Group A. The Rohit Sharma-led side defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets in their first Group A encounter. And with two wins in two games, they registered a spot in Super 4.
While Hardik Pandya's all-round show made a difference in the match against Pakistan, it was Suryakumar Yadav in the second turned the tide for India in the second.

Team India now lock horns with the winner of the Hong Kong Vs Pakistan game, which will take place on September 2. India will play their first Super 4 game on September 4 (Sunday).
Meanwhile, Afghanistan have registered their place in Super 4 from Group B after winning all two matches. While, Sri Lanka snatched a victory from jaws of defeat in the last group B game to book a spot in Super 4s stage on Thursday.
