Indian pacer Arshdeep Singh has been nominated for the prestigious ICC Emerging Player of the Year award along with three others, South Africa's Marco Jansen, New Zealand's Finn Allen & Afghanistan's Ibrahim Zadran.

Arshdeep made the cut despite making his international debut less than 6 months ago in July.

The left-arm pacer has been one of the bright sparks for Team India this year, having picked 33 wickets in 21 T20Is.

His prowess with both the new and the old ball also earned him a place in the Indian ODI team, and he made his ODI debut on the tour of New Zealand in November
