Days after a fake IPL surfaced in Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh police busted another cricket league scam which was being held at a cricket ground in Meerut.

The fake cricket league in Meerut was called the 'Big Boss T20 Punjab League', a scam that had been going on for 4-5 months before the cops nabbed the culprits.

With the mastermind of this fake cricket league controlling all the operations from Moscow, the organisers have been luring the punters to bet on the matches through the mobile app 'CricHeroes'.

UP police arrested two accused related to the caper, identified as Shitab Alia Shabbu and another man named Rishabh.
