Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh feels that the younger players nowadays are very comfortable around their senior teammates because of playing together in domestic leagues like the IPL.

The 40-year-old was reflecting back on his initial cricketing days and said that the player felt odd at times when he was asked to sit beside the likes of Anil Kumble, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, etc.

"After 20 years, I still have to be careful about what I say in front of him (Kumble). I think it was bit of a shock, to be honest." Yuvraj said at the launch of South Africa’s new franchise league SA20 along with former teammate Anil Kumble.

“There are all these guys you’re watching on television as a kid and straightaway, you were in the dressing room with them. What the IPL has done is that the youngsters are now more comfortable around the players.” Yuvraj further added explaining why the younger players feel much more comfortable around the senior players in recent times.
