991 cricketers register for IPL 2023 mini auction

A total of 991 players signed up for the IPL 2023 mini-auction which is set to be held on December 23rd in Kochi. 

Out of 991, 714 are Indian players. Of the 14 overseas countries, 57 names are from Australia, 33  from West Indies and 31 from England. Ben Stokes, Cameroon Green, Adil Rashid and Sam Curran have registered their name in the highest base price category of Rs 2 crores. Kane Williamson who was released by the Sunrisers Hyderabad has also registered in the same bracket alongside Nicholas Pooran, Rilee Rossouw & Rassie Van der Dussan. No Indian player has registered in the highest base price category which has 21 names in total. 

Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc were notable names that were not a part of the list. While Starc did not register, Cummins had earlier announced to miss the upcoming IPL.
