It was a no show from the Indian men’s hockey team in the final of the Commonwealth Games.

The Australians gave Manpreet Singh’s men hiding in the Gold medal match, winning 7-0 to leave the Indian fans shocked.

It was one of the most one-sided encounters in recent times, with India unable to even win a single penalty corner all through the match.

Ever since the introduction of Hockey at the Commonwealth Games in 1998, the Kookaburras have dominated the quadrennial event, winning Gold in all the editions and their victory in Birmingham was their 7th gold on the trot.
