CWG: India’s Lovepreet Singh bags bronze - 9th weightlifting medal for India

Indian weightlifter Lovepreet Singh won the bronze medal in the Men’s 109 kg category.

The man from Punjab didn’t have a single unsuccessful attempt during the final. He finished with a total of 355 kg - 163 kg in Snatch & 192 in Clean & Jerk.

His bronze meant India have now won a total of 9 medals in weightlifting - 3 Gold, 3 Silver and 3 Bronze.
