UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath has rubbished as media speculation the talk of change of leadership in the state. In an interview to The Times of India, the CM said that a few people are interpreting the visits of senior BJP and RSS leaders to the state in a different way and giving a new political spin, which is unfounded.

“It was the media’s professional compulsion to sensationalise and exaggerate in order to get catchy headlines and grab eyeballs,” he said.

When asked about the assembly elections next year, Yogi said the BJP will win again with 2/3rds majority.

To a question on Congress's UP in charge Priyanka Gandhi writing letters to him to draw his attention to various issues, he said: “They are just doing formalities to be in the limelight".
