Sony says it sold 4.5 million PlayStation 5 consoles in 2020

Sony has said it sold 4.5 million units of its new PlayStation 5 console in 2020. Sharing its quarterly results, the firm said it sold the shipments in around a month and a half, with the PS5 having been launched in early November. The Sony PlayStation 5 was launched in India on Feb 2, with pre-orders going live from Jan 12 for the standard edition, at a price of ₹49,990.
