Sony has kicked off the new year by announcing that its PlayStation 5 console will launch in India on February 2, 2021, with pre-orders going live from January 12 at 12PM. Sony says the console will be available to pre-order via leading online websites like Amazon and Flipkart, and offline retail partners including Sony stores across the country. Sony's PlayStation 5 costs ₹39,990 for the Digital Edition and ₹49,990 for the disc version in India.
