Reports say the upgraded Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset is expected to launch in the second half of 2021, with the regular 888 SoC having launched in early December 2020. Qualcomm's overclocked upgrade for its flagship chipset for the year is usually launched in July each year, as seen with the 855 Plus in July 2019, and the 865 Plus launch in July 2020.
