Mumbai Police arrested actor Shilpa Shetty's businessman husband Raj Kundra on Monday night for allegedly making pornographic films and publishing them through mobile applications.
Mumbai Police said the case in this regard was filed in February this year and Kundra, who was interrogated for hours, was the 'key conspirator'.
According to source-based reports, Kundra had invested Rs 10 crore in a company named Kendring, which was registered in the UK. There were reportedly monetary dealing over pornography between Kundra and an accused named Umesh who has already been arrested in the case.
Mumbai Police said, the case registered with Crime Branch in February 2021, was about the creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some apps.
Mumbai Police said that they have sufficient evidence against Kundra.
