YouTuber JerryRigEverything likes to put smartphones under the knife in his durability tests, and his latest victim is the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3.

In a video, the creator shows that the external screen of the foldable smartphone is as durable as current flagships like the iPhone 12 Pro, or OnePlus 9 Pro.

However, the internal folding screen - which has a plastic top layer - receives scratches much easier, even from a fingernail. He notes that the folding display is not scratch resistant, which means that the under-display camera could also easily be affected by scratches.

He does also mention that the supported S-Pen for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is safe to use on the display, and doesn’t leave marks even with heavy pressure applied.
