As India grapples with the second wave of Covid-19, Bollywood actor Salman Khan has pledged to donate a percentage of earnings from his upcoming film 'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai' for Covid relief.
Salman along with Zee Entertainment has partnered with the NGO GiveIndia for relief work, and proceeds from the film will be used to procure medical equipment such as oxygen cylinders, concentrators and ventilators for those in need.
ZEE and Salman Khan Films will also provide support to daily wage workers of the entertainment industry whose livelihoods have been severely affected by the pandemic-induced lockdown.
'Radhe', which features Salman as an encounter specialist is all set to have a theatrical release on May 13 in over 40 countries and will also simultaneously stream on multiple platforms, including ZEE5’s pay-per-view platform ZeePlex.
