Veteran actor Saira Banu has been discharged from Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital where she was admitted last week, after she allegedly suffered a minor heart attack.
Confirming the news to PTI, close family friend Faisal Farooqui revealed that she has returned home after being discharged from a hospital on Sunday.
Thanking everyone for their prayers, Farooqui added that Saira ji is doing well and she's is back home and resting.

On Saturday, Saira Banu's doctor Nitin Gokhale also rubbished media reports that suggested she is battling depression and she is avoiding an angiography in the wake of the death of her husband Dilip Kumar.
The 77-year-old former actor, who lost her husband Dilip Kumar in July, was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai on August 28 following breathlessness, high blood pressure, and high sugar.
