Royal parade marks the Queen's 93rd birthday

Queen Elizabeth the second, marked her 93rd birthday with a Trooping the Colour parade, an awe-inspiring show of British pageantry. About 1,400 soldiers in ceremonial scarlet coats past the queen in a ceremony on Horse Guards Parade in Westminster. More than 20 aircraft of the RAF also took part with the Red Arrows flying past the palace in formation. Thousands of spectators lined the streets to partake the spectacle. The 93-year-old queen was joined by the royal family including Prince Charles and his sons, Prince William and Prince Harry.
