While his teammate Kieron Pollard downplayed the injury and said that the Hitman will be back soon to lead the Mumbai Indians, his omission from the team for the Australia tour now casts doubt about his availability. The BCCI confirmed that their medical team is monitoring both Ishant Sharma and Rohit Sharma's injury. Team India management surely would not like to take a chance to hurry the limited-overs vice-captain as his presence in Team India is likely to be preferred over playing in the T20 league.
