According to reports, security researchers have found vulnerabilities with Apple's AirDrop wireless file-sharing feature. Available on all iOS, iPadOS and macOS devices, researchers say that a weakness with AirDrop's encryption could allow attackers to trigger a decryption, if in proximity to a target. While researchers say Apple is aware of the issue and is yet to address it, reports say users can protect themselves by turning the AirDrop function off when it's not in use.
