According to reports, MWC organiser GSMA is planning on hosting in-person events for the Mobile World Congress event this year. While last year's events were cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Shanghai leg of the event is set to be held from Feb 23, and the MWC Barcelona has been rescheduled for sometime in June or July. MWC Shanghai is expected to see 20,000 attendees, the Barcelona show may allow up to 50,000 people. Visitors to the Barcelona show in the summer will have to present a negative Covid-19 test within 72 hours of attendance, with testing reportedly available at the venue as well.
