Reliance Jio unveils emergency data loan facility; 'Recharge Now, Pay Later'

Reliance Jio is now giving the option of emergency loan for data plan, which lets users 'Recharge Now, Pay Later' option. 

Under the 'emergency data loan' facility, Reliance Jio will allow its prepaid users to borrow up to 5 emergency data loan packs of 1GB high-speed data each. The 1GB data pack costs Rs 11. This means that the maximum amount of loan that the company is offering to the users is Rs 55.

Users need to use the MyJio app and follow the instructions -:

  • Select Emergency Data Loan under Mobile
  • Tap Proceed under the emergency data loan banner.
  • Select Get emergency data option.
  • Tap Activate now.
