Much-awaited sports drama '83' starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone has been declared tax-free in Delhi.
Director Kabir Khan shared the news on his Instagram handle, thanking Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia.
'83' revolves around India's historical 1983 cricket World Cup win. The film stars Ranveer Singh in the role of former Indian cricket team captain Kapil Dev and Deepika Padukone who plays his wife, Romi Bhatia. The film releases on December 24.
Recently, '83' received a standing ovation from audiences during its world premiere at the Red Sea Film Festival in Jeddah. The video went viral on the social media.
