Retailers of Rangia have accused wholesalers of the area of charging more than the market rate for essential items and commodities. The effected retailers have shared receipts where it is visible that the wholesaler has charged at least three times more than the market rate. This is putting a lot of pressure on the retailers as they are being forced to sale essentials at a higher prices. The retailers also said that the wholesalers are threatening them by saying that if they do not pay the increased rate, they will not get the commodities. Now the retailers have approached Deputy Commissioner’s office. The retailers expressed their concern and helplessness in having to sell items at a higher rate.
