As the war of words heat up ahead of 2022 Punjab polls, AAP leader Raghav Chadha has invited trouble with his jibe at Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu.

In response to Sidhu's video criticising Arvind Kejriwal, Raghav Chadha took a swipe at him calling him the 'Rakhi Sawant of Punjab politics.'

Raghav Chadha’s comment came in response to a video posted by the Punjab Congress chief criticising Arvind Kejriwal over farm reforms.

Chadha’s comment drew flak from people for using a ‘sexist’ jibe.

Hitting back at Chadha, Sidhu questioned his evolution from ‘apes and monkeys’ to mankind.

BJP has said ‘Raghav Chadha has shown the real anti-women face of AAP.’

Several people took to social medai to express anguish over the ‘misogynistic’ statement made by the AAP leader.
