Netflix has announced that its new series "Decoupled!", starring R Madhavan and Surveen Chawla will premiere on the streamer on December 17.
In the comedy set in Gurgaon, Madhavan plays an outspoken pulp fiction writer Arya, while Surveen stars as his corporate-CEO wife Shruti.
Madhavan & Surveen are wrestling with the question of whether they should split up or not, but ending a marriage is easier said than done.

The show chronicles the hilarious story a modern couple trying to work through the nuances of a marriage while trying to keep their sanity intact.
Madhavan says, his character suffers with "a rather uncompromised sense of objectivity and clarity", which is hilarious especially when pitted against his calm and composed wife Shruti, played by Surveen.

Surveen Chawla returns to Netflix with 'Decoupled' after playing the fan-favourite Jojo in 'Sacred Games' alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
The show has been created by Manu Joseph and directed by Hardik Mehta.
