Quixplained: how children between 15-18 years can register for Covid-19 vaccination

Covid Vaccine For Children: As India begins vaccinating children aged between 15 to 18 years, here's all you need to know about the registration process. 

All children whose birth year is 2007 or before will be eligible for the vaccine. 

The beneficiaries can register themselves online through an existing Co-WIN account or by creating a new account.

Children can book a slot using their parents’ existing Co-WIN accounts

In addition to regular identification cards like passport or Aadhaar, beneficiaries can also use their Class 10 identity cards to register themselves. 

Children can also be registered at the vaccination sites by the verifier or the vaccinator and appointments can be booked online or on-site.
