Actor Priyanka Chopra and several other Hollywood celebrities have signed a letter asking the G7 countries to donate at least 20% of their vaccines to poorer countries.

Reports are artistes such as Billie Eilish, David Beckham, Olivia Colman, Liam Payne, Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry signed the letter emphasizing the need to share the vaccine as the virus is still spreading and producing new variants with the potential to put everyone back to where it started.

Meanwhile reacting to the letter, UNICEF said that while this would be a good move, it would not be sensible to send all the leftover vaccines in one go and this would result in a lot of vacine wastage.
