The politics over the suspension of eight opposition MPs from Rajya Sabha is in "fast" track, literally. After deputy chairman Harivansh announced a 24-hour fast over the treatment metted out to him in the House, NCP supremo Sharad Pawar has also said that he will be on a day-long fast in support of the suspended MPs. The veteran Maharashtra leader told reporters he will not eat anything for the whole day, even as opposition MPs ended their dharna in Parliament premises after opposition decided to boycott the Rajya Sabha till suspensions are revoked.
