Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday condemned the violence in the US on Wednesday when hundreds of Trump supporters stormed the Capitol Hill building. Distressed to see news about rioting and violence in Washington DC. Orderly and peaceful transfer of power must continue.

The democratic process cannot be allowed to be subverted through unlawful protests," PM Modi tweeted. Other world leaders, including UK PM Boris Johnson and other European leaders also spoke against the violence and called for the election results to be accepted by all.
