PM Modi: United by democratic values, Quad to be key pillar of stability

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday took part in the First Quad Leaders’ Virtual Summit with US President Joe Biden, Australian PM Scott Morrison and Japanese PM Suga.

In his opening remarks, PM Modi said the group's agenda makes the Quad, a force for global good‘. Quad will remain an important pillar of stability in the Indo-Pacific region’, the Prime Minister said.

Addressing his American, Japanese and Australian counterparts virtually, PM Modi said that the Quad members are united by the democratic values and the commitment to a free, open and inclusive Indo-Pacific.

‘We will work together, closer than ever before for advancing our shared values and promoting a secure, stable and prosperous Indo-Pacific’, PM Modi added.
