PM Modi's 'big fan' is walking from Srinagar to Delhi in hope of meeting him

To what extent will you go to meet your icon? A man from Kashmir is walking to Delhi from Srinagar hoping that his around 815-km journey will get the attention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and he will get an opportunity to meet him.

28-year-old Fahim Nazir Shah calls himself a very big fan of PM Modi. Shah works aa an electrician in Srinagar and has reached Udhampur after walking over 200 kms in two days.

He believes that at the end of this arduous journey his dream of meeting the prime minister will be fulfilled.

Shah told PTI that he has been following the Prime Minister on social media over the past four years, and his speech and actions have "touched" his heart.

Shah said that over the past two and a half years, he has made several attempts to meet Prime Minister Modi in Delhi. "During the PM's last visit to Kashmir, security personnel did not allow me to meet him," he said.
