Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Joe Biden on winning the US presidential race on Saturday. In a tweet the PM said that as vice president of the US, Biden helped strengthen the India-US ties and he will look forward to work with him to take the ties between the two nations to new heights. In a separate tweet Modi congratulated Kamala Harris for becoming the first woman Vice President of the US. The PM wrote that the India-origin leader's success was pathbreaking.
