Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro to launch on October 19, Google confirms

Google has announced that it will host a Pixel Fall Launch event on October 19, where the company will launch the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones.

The Pixel 6 series will use Google’s own custom Tensor chipset, a first for the company, along with a radical redesign for the series.

Earlier leaks have indicated that the phones will feature a Samsung camera sensor, along with new camera features like automatic object removal or blurry face fixing. The front-facing camera could be an ultra-wide lens.

Google may also include 33W wired and 23W wireless charging support with the new Pixel 6 lineup.
