OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has said that the company received a 324% increase in pre-orders on the first day of its launch in India, as compared to the OnePlus 8 series. Pete tweeted, thanking the OnePlus community, but didn't give details on what number of smartphones were booked. The OnePlus 9 series was launched on March 23, with prices starting at ₹39,999 for the OnePlus 9R.
