Actor Shaheer Sheikh who will step into the shoes of Sushant Singh Rajput to play the role of Manav in the second season of Pavitra Rishta penned an emotional note on Instagram.
Shaheer revealed that he was taken aback when he was first approached for the role. Sharing photos with co-star Ankita Lokhande and Usha Nadkarni, he wrote that no one in their right frame of mind would dare to play a character immortalised by Sushant Singh Rajput. Shaheer added that he decided to take up the challenge thinking about what Sushant would do in such a situation.

He ended the note by saying while it is scary to step into his shoes & live up to the audience expectations, it is scarier to not even try.
