In a huge relief for the Pakistan cricket team, their in-form batters Mohammad Rizwan and Shoaib Malik have been declared fit to take part in the T20 World Cup semi-final vs Australia.

Their participation in the crucial game was doubtful after both Rizwan and Malik caught flu and had a fever. Their Covid-19 tests, however, returned negative but the doctors had advised them to rest, which is why they didn’t attend the last practice session and stayed at the hotel. However, PCB in a statement said that both players were feeling better and the medical panel gave a nod to their participation in the semi-final.
