A leaked internal memo sent out to OnePlus employees says that OnePlus has now become a brand within Oppo, but will continue to function as an independent entity.

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau recently announced that the company is merging with Oppo, and sharing more resources than before.

Employees have been told that OnePlus customer support and public relations will continue to run separately.

However, the memo does warn them to refrain from responding to any question about the OxygenOS and ColorOS operating systems.
